Authors Note- I wrote this essay to prove the stereotype that the Greasers are misjudged by everyone else.

In the book the outsiders there are a lot of stereotype. One of them is about the whole Greaser’s gang the stereotype is. Because of how they look no one thinks there good enough to be part of a regular society because of how they look and how they live.

They aren’t the richest people, they barley have any money at all, there parents don’t care about them, and they are forced to survive any way that’s possible, unlike the Socs who are rich and spoiled, with wealthy parents that can get them anything they want as well as caring about their kids.

Since the Greasers live in these conditions and look like the people that see them on the streets and even the Socs think they aren’t good enough to be accepted like any other person, they are considered to be the lowest stature of living. Compared to the socs they are gum on the bottom of humanities shoe. But the greasers don’t care because they accept the fact that they are different then everybody else.

That is why the stereotype that the Greasers are misjudged is true, and I hope that I proved that to you through this essay.

Authors note: This is a letter to Dally from me about what I like and don’t like about him.
Dally I am writing a letter to you about well you. I think you are pretty cool you have the rough and tough attitude that I like, and I think that you have a tragic history having to grow up on the streets of New York going to jail at the age of ten. It’s pretty tragic, but you are doing well now I’ve read, I’m sorry to hear about Johnny being dead and all I know that you are very sad about him but keep your head up also you should have given Ponyboy a ride home. Well back to the subject I think you need to get a better temper you have a shorter fuse than my sister and that’s short, also anger management is another thing you need to work on you can overreact to the simplest of things. Your history is very sad born and raised on the streets of New York you have been arrested many times and you are a criminal you need to work past that and become a better person by controlling your anger.

It was a cold night as Johnny and Pony boy were walking to the park it was about two in the morning, why were they taking this walk you ask well it all started when Pony boy came home late at night he got yelled at by his big brother there was back and forth between them and then his older brother slapped him and Pony boy ran away. Here we are now they have just arrived at the park that’s when they see the blue mustang pull up packed with 5 socs that were angry and drunk Johnny quickly pulled out his switch blade and was ready to fight but the socs had surrounded them they took Pony boy and shoved his bead into the fountain and they were about to pull a blade on Johnny he was being held back by two socs. But then the soc with the blade went down it was Darry and Soda they had come to look for Pony boy and Johnny soda charged the soc that was trying to drown Pony boy and threw him off of Pony and threw a punch at his face instantly giving him a bloody nose now it was a fair fight a soc threw a punch at Darry hitting him in the stomach Johnny tackled him to the ground while Darry gained his breath back Soda was taking blows from a soc he fell to the ground and pony leaped up and upper cutted the soc that was punching Johnny suddenly a huge rush of sirens and flashing lights had appeared all around the park ten officers poured out of cars immediately surrounding the boys and arrested them all.

Authors note: This was a recreated fight scene from when Johnny killed Bob the soc. I added more action and suspense.
