Song Turn In

Song Turn In
Eminem- Like Toy Soldiers
I'm supposed to be the soldier who never blows his composure. Even though I hold the weight of the whole world on my shoulders. (I’m the one to keep a state of mind when there is chaos around me.)
I ain't never supposed to show it, my crew ain't supposed to know it. (I need to stay strong and not show or tell anyone the misery inside me)
Even if it means goin' toe to toe with a Benzino it don't matter I'd never drag them in battles that I can handle unless I absolutely have to I'm supposed to set an example. (No matter the odds I will stand my ground)
And even though the battle was won, I feel like we lost it I spent too much energy on it, honestly I'm exhausted and I'm so caught in it I almost feel I'm the one who caused it. (Even thought we won we lost at the same time, we weren’t suppose to be here but we are.)

Like Toy Soldiers is a very deep song wrote by Eminem his intentions of the song was to stop rap violence after his best friend Cooper was shot and killed in a Detroit night club.

The lyrics are very deep, in the song Eminem compares rappers that have been killed to toy soldiers that are controlled by someone else which in many cases is a record company that sells albums and profits from the controversy. My interpretation of the song, this song was indefinitely suppose to be sad, when Eminem says I’m supposed to be the soldier who never blows his composure he means he needs to keep calm because his crew depends on him to be the leader and guide them. He also mentions his and 50 cents feud between Ja rule. In the rap world it is crazy with violence and feuds and that was Eminem’s ammo when he was writing this song he also uses a multitude of rappers that have been killed through all of the chaos including Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G, Big L, and former D12 member Bugz.
In Like Toy Soldiers part of the song is about the 50 cent, Ja rule Beef in the song Eminem and Dr.Dre told 50 not to get involved in the Beef until Ja Rule started up, so Eminem said whatever and let 50 go at it.”Lyrics” We actually tried to stop the 50 and Ja beef from happenin'
Me and Dre had sat with him, kicked it and had a chat with him
And asked him not to start it he wasn't gonna go after him Until Ja started yappin' in magazines how we stabbed him. Whatever 50 smash 'em, mash 'em and let him have it.
In the end the song was a hit everyone loved the song if you don’t believe me about the song check out the music video.
